DESCRIPTION: APW - Ball Hamilton, Official B of RT Standard (Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen), Grade 999B, 17J, 18S, gold-filled OF swingout recase with locomotive scene to rear, white enamel SS dial, pierced Ball style hands, SW-LS, bull's-eye pattern nickel damascene, s#118336. This movement was produced shortly after the damascene change from brake-wheel pattern to bull's-eye pattern among 17 jewel 18 size Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen production.
CONDITION: Mvt: Running, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, mvt with some scratches with the most notable running from near center to plate screw near edge right of "Sapphire Pallets" marking, some small specks of oxide to regulator assembly; dial has scattered very faint hls including a cluster between 8 and 9, a short scratch at 9, and few fine scratches; fine hands, original plum colored hour and minute with some finish loss, seconds-hand is a blued color replacement; case shows light wear, no dents or dings, engraving detail shows mild reduction, few small spots of wear to brass to pendant; tight bow, crown shows medium wear; glass crystal with internal fine scratch at upper perimeter.
